Road Royalty Shipping Policy

Last Updated: 07 June 2026

At Road Royalty, we strive to deliver your order as quickly and efficiently as possible. We currently use Aramex and other approved courier partners to deliver orders throughout South Africa.

1. Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been successfully received and verified.

Orders are not processed, shipped, or delivered on weekends or South African public holidays.

During periods of high demand, promotional events, adverse weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances, processing times may be extended.

2. Shipping Timeframes

Road Royalty aims to process and dispatch orders as quickly as possible.

Customers can generally expect delivery within 4–11 business days from the date of dispatch.

Please note:

  • Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and South African public holidays.
  • Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
  • Deliveries to remote or outlying areas may take longer.
  • Delays may occur due to courier operations, adverse weather conditions, high order volumes, public holidays, strikes, civil unrest, or circumstances beyond Road Royalty's reasonable control.

While we work closely with our courier partners to ensure timely delivery, Road Royalty shall not be held liable for delays occurring after an order has been handed to the courier for delivery.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs, where applicable, will be displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

Road Royalty reserves the right to amend shipping fees at any time without prior notice.

Any free shipping promotions are subject to the terms of the specific promotion and may be withdrawn at any time.

4. Delivery Address Accuracy

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that all shipping information provided is complete and accurate.

Road Royalty shall not be liable for delays, failed deliveries, additional charges, or losses resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated delivery information supplied by the customer.

Should an order be returned due to incorrect address details, additional shipping charges may apply before re-dispatch.

5. Courier Delays

Once an order has been handed over to the courier, delivery operations are managed by the courier service.

While Road Royalty will reasonably assist customers with shipment tracking and delivery enquiries, Road Royalty shall not be liable for:

  • Courier delays;
  • Missed delivery attempts;
  • Routing errors;
  • Operational disruptions;
  • Weather-related delays;
  • Strikes or industrial action;
  • Force majeure events; or
  • Any indirect or consequential losses arising from delayed delivery.

6. Tracking Information

Where available, tracking details will be provided once an order has been dispatched.

It remains the customer's responsibility to monitor tracking updates and make themselves available to receive the delivery.

7. Risk and Ownership

Ownership of goods passes to the customer once full payment has been received by Road Royalty.

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon successful delivery to the delivery address provided by the customer.

Proof of delivery, signature, photograph, GPS confirmation, or any other delivery confirmation provided by the courier shall constitute sufficient proof that the order was successfully delivered.

8. Lost Parcels

If a parcel is believed to be lost in transit, customers must notify Road Royalty within 7 days of the expected delivery date.

Road Royalty will initiate an investigation with the courier partner.

Replacement products, store credit, or refunds will only be considered after the courier investigation has been completed and the parcel has been officially declared lost by the courier.

Road Royalty reserves the right to determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable South African law.

9. Damaged Shipments

Customers should inspect parcels immediately upon delivery.

Any visible damage to packaging or products must be reported to Road Royalty within 48 hours of delivery and accompanied by clear photographs of:

  • The outer packaging;
  • The shipping label; and
  • The damaged product.

Failure to report damage promptly may affect our ability to investigate and process claims.

10. Failed Deliveries and Returned Parcels

If a parcel is returned due to:

  • Incorrect delivery information;
  • Customer unavailability;
  • Refusal of delivery;
  • Failure to collect from a collection point; or
  • Any circumstance attributable to the customer,

the customer may be responsible for additional shipping charges before re-delivery can occur.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

11. Force Majeure

Road Royalty shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters;
  • Floods;
  • Fires;
  • Severe weather conditions;
  • Power outages;
  • Epidemics or pandemics;
  • Civil unrest;
  • Government actions;
  • Cyber incidents;
  • Transport disruptions; or
  • Courier operational failures.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Road Royalty's liability arising from any shipping-related claim shall be limited to the purchase price paid for the affected product.

Road Royalty shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or inconvenience arising from shipping delays, courier issues, or delivery-related disputes.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable South African law.
